Is the chin up bar included when you purchase the set of P90x viedo set?

Melanie, the P90X bar is actually an additional $54.95. You can also use a resistance band hooked onto a door as a very good alternative.
Is it possible for me to buy just the guides (nutrition/fitness)?
I would say no, but you can call Customer Service during the week at 800 470-7870 and ask.
